When they were cooking up a scheme to invade Iran.
Reading this and Wow! A real crazy alphabet soup of Euro-American intelligence agencies, combined with Iranian dissidents trying to dream up ways to screw over Tehran. It may be from 2005 but the level of activity indicated a dangerous level of determination to go through with an Iranian war. The Front (To Overthrow Iran) Halfway through, and the plan kept getting thicker and thicker. It’s...

RIP Moin Akhtar
Gone at the age of 60. Yah Khuda, who does that nowadays? Moin Akhtar sahab did, and it’s sunk in that an original, hardworking and good man has passed away. Forget emoticons, I feel like there’s a small empty space in my heart. Ahmer Naqvi and Sami Shah wrote best on Moin sahab’s passing. And this one video Ahmer Naqvi posted is tragic, as he typed it. It’s the comedian...

Cry till you laugh →
By Sami Shah:   As our latest nuclear-capable ballistic missile, Hatf-9, is propelled into the sky on a fuel composed of educational textbooks, hopes and dreams, it’s time to consider just how deeply committed we are to farce. A cursory scan of the headlines of any newspaper reveals that the government and the army are, together, involved in a comedy of errors of epic proportions. What we have,...

Things Change - And They Get Better
I’m a bit of a solution oriented person and in terms of Israel-Palestine I’ll get to it. This will not continue. We don’t have to constantly look at the Israelis butchering Palestinians and cry and angrily shake our fists at the sky and say, oh when will the Israelis stop this! I mentioned the Cold War, I will mention a non-NATO ally of the West also known for bigoted...
